Mike Cochran 6 Point Cue

The cue is full spliced

By modern stnadards all Timi's and Mike's cues were full spliced into the handle usually 5/8 of an inch. Mike and Timi being purest said the full splice has to be one solid piece of wood from the tip of the point to the bumper at the bottom.
There are a few builders famous for thier full splice cues that don't build true full spliced cues.
The forearm in the cue is full spliced construction. The cue is not built as a true full splice. The splice is custom. Other builders do much the same thing but call it full splice. They use differant ways to attach the handle but they are no more full splice than this cue.
Thank you David. I want the third shaft you are selling too.
Call and let me know if there is any problem. Payment is easy.
Thanks again,
Nick :)

Not full splice but a real nice cue though. Heres a couple pics for you.

Reduction??? Discount???

The price isn't reduced. You get a discount.
Nick :)

I like it a lot and I'm sure it's a monster hitter.

The six pointer MC cue is very much a duplicate to my 8 pointer in feel and hit. Super solid. Very firm and stiff. The natural spin it puts on the object ball makes it very easy to play with.
The phenolic the pin is set in being one piece all the way through the joints ring gives so much action but has a feel that allows it to play consistantly. It has the best of both worlds. It moves the ball consistantly and still will put all the spin you need on the rock.
Yummie!
Nick :)

I purchased the mentioned cue from David Steelman for Shadowmoss

He sent me this PM about it Christmas day! He didn't mention how he sat on his veneer MC cue and herd a crack. That would be the cracked cue and David's Cochran veneer piolted steel joint cue!
His PM was a fine how do you do on Christmas Day! Spirit of Christmas and all.

Oh and BTW.... - Yesterday, 04:46 PM

For what it is worth. If there is a cracked Cochran, you have it. That six pointer that I sold you. I passed on it for 2200. I personally saw it slammed on a table, thrown across the pool hall and kicked on probably 15-20 occasions. Luckily Mike had touched the cue up for my buddy. Anyway, I would be careful if you jack up over a shot with it. Probably wont last too long.

The sale was for $3100.00. It was purchased for Shadowmoss.
The for sale thread was erased. Beware the seller. Dishonest seller.
Subdude1974 should be avoided.
Nice guy.

best wishes
dean

Mc

Wow that beauty is messed up and eric has
It??? Wow that must be hurting the collection, the cue is about 5% now ill give him $500 for it shipped and take my chances with it splitting on me

Thanks Dean

Happy Holidays. I played with the cue. Eric took it out and played with it today. I told him I would take it back and he would have none of it. We both know Mike would never have let anything leave the shop less than 100%.
David is playing us for fools. He has done a good job on his rep here. Sending me PM's like crazy. None very nice. I will avoid him.
Any way Mr Dean the only Cochran Cues I have now are the Ivory and Silver Inlayed Flaoting Veneer Cue and the 8 Point Veneer Cue Mike made me. All others were sold to help recoup the $4600 donation I made including the cost of a cue that was donated and all proceeds donated.
By maybe next year with a little luck I will recoup that by selling what little I have left. I am almost there so it is easy to just keep my cues.
I will put the fancy cues up and play with my Frey Ebony Front Ivory Joint Cue.
Nick :)

I apologized to you for one of the things I said. I was out of line on. But I meant all the others and was honest with all the other things that I said. And dont act like any of it wasnt deserved after that BS thread that you started about me and the sabotage you played on me. And you said some some nasty things to me as well. Like threatening me with violence and you and your brother coming to see me. And as far as the cue goes, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling that Eric has it as I was 100% truthful with what I said. Dont know if there is anything wrong with the cue or not. I didnt see any damage. Just know the history of what I saw done to it and that is why I passed on it. Anyway, take care and best wishes.
Your biggest fan,
David

Well stated I think, well wrap it up boyz. Happy Cochran Cue hunting!!! Not many more out there to be had, even if they were kicked tossed dropped chips ding dents etc. As long as they are playable and not a loss who
Cares! Buy them up & get them refinished!

You are a lier David Steelman.

Bernard was not sold this cue you fink. The owner never wished your PM to be made public. He called last week and pleaded to have me post this PM that I forewarded to him from you to me. Your Pm arrived months after the sale. He never hit with this cue. Neither did I. I was asked to get the cue and did . The owner never trusted anything about you.

I have asked the owner not to get involved. He says you are scum. You sell broken cues and altered Cues and are not worth buying from. You have no concience.
