MIKE COCHRAN***** finished by*****TONY BB

hey

thanks John. I am going to play with it, that was the intent when I ordered it, so why change that now.

Oh Hell YA!

That would have made Mike smile! Swear and smile. Mike had a way with words. When it came to steel rings in his cues the words were four letter ones!
He really cared what his cues would look like 20 years from now. That was his insight on how to build a cue that would stay and be stable for decades. Wood shrinks. Steel does not.
Mike and Timi intended cues to be built for a lifetime of enjoyment.
Mike took it a step further. He wanted his cues to look great decades from now with no finish issues.
Mike didn't wet sanded his cues or Timi's! He would buff each coat to perfection before appling another coat.
There were so many little things Timi and Mike did that contributed to their master pieces. It is always the little things that seperate great from masterful.
Thanks for sharing one of the prettiest cues on the planet with us Mr. Steve!
Nick :)

Every time I pick up this baby to shoot......I am going to be thinking of all the good times with my good friend Mike..........

That cue is the absolute stone nuts!!! You are blessed to have that cue and have met/known one of the best cuemakers of my time.

Beautiful cue Steve. As I have stated before many times, Mike was a great cuemaker and an even better person. We had the same conversation about metal rings in a cue and he told me he would never use one in any MC cue. You must have really been a pain in the azz for him to give in. LOL. I wish I had gotten a chance to get up there and see him. I wanted to take him out for a round of golf and some vodka drinks after. I will truly miss him. Congrats on the cue. I am waiting for the oppurtunity to get my old one back. Although I doubt it will ever happen. Take care and enjoy.
David
