I just went and hiked South Mountain while waiting for the main forum page to load. It was almost done by the time I got back! :D
 
No doubt!!! I thought it was just my computer but this site is slower than molasis running in January. I hope there is room for improvement with this server.
 
Like to post more, but

Would like to post more about Derby City but it is too slow and I will miss too much action. They are playing one pocket faster than this site. lol

Why don't you have the text ready in Notepad and then just copy-paste it to the forum ? Well, I'm sure I wouldn't miss any 1pocket action if I was there... sigh...

All DCC posts are on heavy demand ! What's going on in there ? No reports = no one is matching up ? :p
 
We are trying to get into the hosting facility to do the work, but with the holiday it has been difficult.

Good advice, Mikko, even better is to use Microsoft Word, which has spellcheck!
 
OK, here is the scoop. We will be taking the server down at approx. 6pm EST on Tuesday evening. We hope to have it back up late Tuesday night. I realize that this is not the best time to be doing work like this, but the recent performance problems have proven that it has to be done now and not later.

I'm glad to hear that your fixing the problem, I don't care if the site is down for a while because you can hardly get on it as it is.
