Mike makes the list

Someone may have posted on this already and if so, I appologize.

I was just paging through the current Billiards Digest and was looking at an article on "Power Brokers" in the world of pool/billiards. The top ten were profiled and had their pictures in the article. I was about to go on to another article when I saw a heading entitled "The Next 10." These next ten "power brokers" were listed in alphabetical order. There were some heavy hitters on that list, including Allison Fisher and Aristeo Puyat (the Filipino pool promoter). I guess you've guess by now that our own Mike Howerton of AZBilliards.com was also on the list. Gee, makes me feel kind of powerful!

This is the second time Mike Howerton's made the list, he was on it a few years ago and IMO should have been on it everytime.

I think the way the forums rallied around the players during the whole IPT issue had to have a lot to do with it. That is all on the users here.

Either way, I am definitely honored to make the list again.

That is a very nice honor, Mike, to be recognized!

You know, I smell a bio article coming out soon, maybe a short snippet of what attracted you to pool initially and how it evolved into you creating the website, the early days!

I will never forget the expression on your face at Turning Stone last year when I said, "Boy, the discussion forum sure has grown!"
