Mike sigel

When did this happen?

I saw him not two weeks ago in Orlando, he was in regularly just horsing around, going to lunch with some of the guys, talking about old matches, playing golf, his Acura.

I have seen him play a little here and there, but he didn't look like he was spooling up for anything.

I saw him at Hollywood Billiards a couple of months ago. He was parking his cue on the break and running out on those tight tables. He was playing with Max Eberle. Both were playin'!

I can't believe he left Florida. I heard he really liked Bass Fishing and he lived in a great area to go fishing when he got the urge.

This is very intersting to me.
Start fresh in what? A new business, new life, new job? Is he still married? Still make cues? Any association stil with the IPT?

I spoke to him in August and he said he was getting a divorce and moving to California for a new start. His mom recently passed and you could tell he was down. I know he still talks to KT. I do not think he is making cues any longer and not sure what he will do in Cali. I know he also has the poker bug. I would love for him to start playing again.
 
i havent heard anything about him moving to cali. i saw the other day here in orlando. i dont think the guy is moving. as far as all his personal info i dont see why thats important so im not going to put anything out there. hes not making cues and he is still in winter garden.
 
Thanks for the update. I hope he is doing well as I have always liked Mike. I think Orlando is good for him.
 
I heard he's still in Orlando but plays alot of golf and doesn't play much pool at all.

ive seen him giving some lessons at clicks here in orlando. (casselberry technically.) hes got a nice acura nsx and he was playing ????? in some one pocket and 9 ball a week later. ?????? got him in both but the 9 ball went double hill and then segal scratched on his break. ????? got out of course. segal wasnt playing with his cue though. i think he borrowed one.

i know who he was playing but he is at derby city right now and i dont wanna blow any of his action letting people know that he just beat segal. just looking out for him.....

Wow. Another divorce AND losing your mom around the same time is brutal! I feel bad for him.

On a selfish note, I also would love to see him playing full time again. It would be nice if someone could sponsor him. KT perhaps?

Him and Renee had a boy together named Spencer. I sure hope he don't forget that the little fella back in Florida needs a daddy. Hopefully, he won't just abandon him....

Terry, it seems, from some other posts, that he may still be in Florida. I do know that when we talked he was bummed about his boys if he couldn't see them. I am sure he won't forget. And I agree KT should sponsor him and get him playing again.
 
Hi Folks,

Mike speaks daily with a close friend here in Rochester. He bought a manufactured home near his old residence in Orlando. Mike and Renee had two boys, Spencer and Trevor. He moved back from California to be near them. All the personal problems occured just before the World 14.1. Think he may have been slightly distracted?

Thanks for that update. I am glad he is back in Florida as I knew he missed his boys. I also had a feeling he was very distracted at the 14.1 Championships.
