Well, by now we should know what W stands for! I'll take this pool player over him every day of the week, and twice on Sunday. In fact, I'd take any pool player over him. Johnny Archer for President!

How about HillBilly Bryant? :D :D :D

Can you imagine the diplomatic talks with the Middle East?

Sure.

I expect that I'll be able to make it up to Atlanta area in the September/October time frame. Meet there at one of the weekend tournaments in the area?

I'm not betting anything ridiculous like $3000.00, as I will be unemployed, but tell me what you wanna do.

(Unlike cubc, I'm not going to talk shiite. I have no idea who would win, but it would be fun. :D)

Russ

Russ you'll be unemployed after being in Iraq for 3 years... your wallet must be busting at the seems right now. If I am still in the area or if you want to play at the next DCC, you got action.

Closed bridge, raining 3 pointers, .... whatever. This lame lefty, who is a chain smoker, dooesn't have the balls to burn one in front of the American public. That about sums up his whole act.

Former smoker, actually. Nobody is perfect.

I suppose all of these people were lame as well...

A cigarette burning from the end of a holder became the trademark for Franklin Roosevelt. Warren Harding, who utilized every tobacco product, also found no problem lighting up whenever and wherever the urge struck him.

Howard Taft kicked the cigarette habit after his election as president. Dwight Eisenhower who rolled his own, sustained four packs a day, but quit cold turkey before his presidency. Lyndon Johnson used three packs a day until his heart attack forced an end to the habit.

First Lady Grace Coolidge kept her habit a secret.
Pat Nixon stopped smoking in public during her husband's congressional campaign of 1946. The ever-adventurous Eleanor Roosevelt began lighting up at White House gatherings however; claiming women had as much right to smoke in public as men. Mamie Eisenhower, Jackie Kennedy, Betty Ford, and Nancy Reagan also smoked cigarettes. Helen Taft smoked in her youth, but quit shortly after her marriage as did Laura Bush.

Ah, Dude. It ain't about the habit, it's all about the lack of character by not wanting to be seen in public lighting up. He has not quit.

Wallet busting at the seams or not Deadpoked, I do have a limit as to what I am prepared to generously lose. Remember, you were drilling me at DCC. I'm not particularly wanting to wait until January, as I will probably have long been back at work by that time.

If travelling to Georgia around that time frame is a problem, would you rather I came to NC? it's a little farther north than I was really planning on travelling, but anything to help out the TAR crew, ya know? :D :D :D

I think you are getting me mixed up with easy-e. I am a lame on the 9 footer. I don't know what TAR's schedule looks like but I am for certain they are not coming to this part of the country to film a couple of bangers. It would have to be at one of their larger events and I don't know when or where that will be.

hangemhigh, Obama does not smoke anymore. If you can post proof otherwise, do it, if not, quit making those claims.

If he started smoking out in public this day and age he wouldn't have a shot in hell. Politics isn't about who has character, or what they stand for. It's about your image and what you say to people. Even if he did still smoke, it'd be campaign suicide to light one up.

Political Pandering....

That's the problem with politics, many people have cynnical mindsets about certain people, automatically. Before they even collect proper evidence, they assume the worst.

Sometimes, you have to give benefit of the doubt, even if it is someone in the opposition party.

When it comes to a choice between one's party or the best interest of the country, too often politically bent people choose party over country... Thus, they have no true standards, only fake standards jaded by party affiliation.

Simply stated, if the next president is better than the current president, then I will be happy to admit it, whether he's R or D. That will be better for all true American patriots.

(Now, not trying to take this forum off-topic. Let's get back to pool talk)

Looks like Obama can shoot a few pool shots. Cool! That'll do more to help the image of pool, as opposed to hurting it. Overall, it probably won't do much either way. But with where pool has been, every small step in the right direction is appreciated.

This is exactly what I pointed out in my first post. Very good observation.

You can check out the following article where he describes how he quit smoking and is using nicotine gum. Do you really think that he would allow something like smoking a cigarette derail his chances of becoming the next President of the US? Umm no. He says that he had never been a heavy smoker and there has never been 1 single photograph taken of him smoking.

I'll take his word for it. And I am done arguing with you about such a trivial issue... it's too tough to argue with "He ain't quit".

I just noticed you edited your post to include a photoshopped photograph of Obama smoking a cigarette. They also darkened his skin color. Nice job.
