It's a reflection of light. I've owned this cue at least 6 times in the past 5 years. That's right, at least 6 times, and for a good reason, the cue is top shelf. I would not hesitate to own it a 7th time if I were in the market for a Tascarella. I know 2 other people who paid $4,500 CASH MONEY for this cue, including me. This cue is a buy and one heck of a ball striker.

if this is the same cue i owned then it did have 4 large and 4 small diamonds in the butt...

I have seen it at Vinniebabarooch house. It is a small diamond. There are 4 big and 4 small in between. It hits great too.
