Missing Pool Player

I got a note from James Parr with Gameland Billiards in Albany, Ga.

It seems that Jimmy Wale has been missing since September of last year. His parents are getting concerned and are now asking for help from the pool playing public. Jimmy's car was found abandoned in Atlanta in October.

Anyone with any info is asked to call James or Susan Parr at 229-438-1520, 229-432-6411 or 229-438-8047.

I asked Keith about him, and he said that Jimmy was a young straight-shooting player with a lot of talent.

My prayers go out to his family, and I hope some good news comes to the fore soon. Maybe if somebody could post a picture of him, it would help.

Can you get a good description and if possible a picture to post? I live in Atlanta, and you might want to suggest they make a flyer to post in the rooms here. If his mom wants to email a pic and his stats I can print one up and post it at Cues and the Pool Room.

This is very upsetting indeed. I will do my part as well. Please get us a picture and I can circulate it at all of my events and I am sure we can find a way to put it on my websites as well.

Hi,
I had breakfast with him 10 years ago and I ran into him one time in Albany,Georgia.He played in the Mens Protour few times during Mackey`s time.I am praying for his safety.

I am originally from the southeast and I have known Jimmy for over 15 years. Jimmy once moved to Texas for awhile back in the 90's, so he has ties here as well. I live in Houston now so I will keep my ears to the ground. My prayers go out to Mr. and Mrs. Wales.

I know alot of people that liked Jimmy so we should all come together and try to help his family. I find it hard to believe that only 4 or 5 people have a reply to this thread. I am sure any information would be appreciated by his friends and family.

I saw Jimmy at a tournament in the Carolinas about 6 or 8 months ago, and he looks a little different than the picture. The face is the same, but he has definitely gained a few pounds, and his head was shaved, or at least his hair was very short.

Anyone who knows Jimmy knows that he is just as liable to be hustling around Georgia as he is to be in Hawaii or the Bahamas somewhere. Hopefully he will show up soon.

How old is Jimmy and does he have any nick names? I think I saw him playing a money game at Cues about 6 or 7 months ago? Height, weight and eye color? Where in Atlanta was his car found and you may want to poat this info on the CCB?

He is in his late 20's. Last time I saw him he was about 5'11" or so and about 180 lbs. Where his car was found is a great question.
 
I'll keep my eyes open. If he is spotted, should we just ask him to contact his parents or what?

He is closer to your height I would guess.
Your what about 6'2 or so??

Its a shame that we are even talking about this but it was not that
hard to see coming. For him to not contact people in Albany around the
holidays is not good.


Jimmy gets around alot so its possible he is not in the south.
Hate to hear it. The kid could play very good. I still remember him
playing and beating up on people as a 16 year old kid.

Yes, I am about 6'2". So he has grown since I last seen him,
I hope like we all do that he shows up safe soon.
 
He does play very very good. Also, He has OUTLAW tatoo'd on his forearm...in reference to the OUTLAW JOSEY WALES.
