I met him at a tournament in Memphis once,and started a converation about cues,and got a brochure from him.

The ones he showed me from his case were just phenomenal stuff,very different from everyone else,and very well made.

Unfortunately,I didn't get a chance a hit any with the ones he had on hand,so I can't say anything about the playability.

Sure felt nice though,and you could just see the workmanship,and could hear the pride he had in his work,GREAT stuff. Tommy D.

they play as well as they look. and yes he take alot of pride in them. he dont take the cheap way out. i seen them make them and he dont rush to make them he wants a cue that someone will take pride in just like he has.

Looks good how do they play ? .. Is it for sale ? and I did go to his site and was some other cues .. looks good so far .. get some prices and pm me.
 
Since you asked .

1.I find the pointed cues to be very generic looking

2. The finish lacks that "wet" look that many buyers seek when purchasing a high end cue.

3. The pic's of the first 2 cues you posted maybe are ment to be one of a kind but to me it looks like you took whatever scrap you had lying around the shop and decided to build a cue with it. It may be that it's just not my cup of tea but most here tend to lean towards more traditional cues. If your looking to sell cues you will definately have to "calm" things down.

Maybe try a really nice birdseye forearm and butt with an ebony handle and your checkerboard rings (2 thin layers) at all positions .

4. Cue number 3 on your website does look nice I would like to see better pictures.

5 I'm not the grammer police by any means but your website has some errors and thats bad

thanks. the two cues was made for some one but they never come to pick them up..lol the website is not done yet its just a start and im not the cue make im just a good friend trying to help him out. he does make alot of cues for some big time players but im not i can im not aloud to say there names on the web..lol hes is great at making cues he does not use a cnc its all him. they play great too. thanks and i like to get your info it can only help.
 
I have owned 5 different mitchell thomas cues and they all look and play the same. Great!! He takes tons of pride in his work and will work with you on prices of cues also. Mitchell is also a great guy to deal with and im sure he will be making me more cues in the future, He is also making bridges to put on the end of your cue to jump over balls with. Its really nice also.

yes he is a great guy to deal with. he will work out a great price on his custom cues and yes the jump bridge is a nice tool to have.. i use one.
 
I own the cue in 5 of the pictures under construction on the web page. I have to say that my cue that Mitchell Thomas made for me is the best cue I've ever shot with. I also have his custom purpleheart break cue that hits like a frieght train with a center ball hit. I will also have a jump cue by Mitchell & a sneaky pete soon so I don't have to worry about league night dings on my high end cue. I've been to Mitchell's shop and all of his cues are full splice. No cutting corners, & he won't let u have the cue until the cue is ready. Mitchell in an artist & his medium is wood.

you cant go wrong with mitchells cues great price and they play great too. hes a great guy to deal with. the website is being updated all the time. if you are looking for a great custom cue and not wanting to break the bank call or email him or pm me for his number.

He has some very unique designs I like it. Glass to see someone step out of the traditional box. I will be contacting him soon.

cap that is a very nice cue. i told mitchell i love this cue and if you ever want to sell it please let me know..lol where do you play at. me and mitchell or going to do some traveling this summer to play some pool.
 
I mostly play at my house but I play league out
of MO River by Columbia MO. I also venyure to
Cape Girardeau & Paducah on occasion. 9 ball tourney
at MO River Sat. 4/27. I think Mitchell is gonna b there.
