I went to a tool store this morning to find they were going out of business. They were selling Mitutoyo digital 6" calipers for $70 dollars a piece. I thought it sounded like a good deal so I bought two pair anyone else interested I will go buy some more just let me know.

That's a square buy IMO. On sale at MSC or KBC they're like $86 plus shipping. Very neighborly of you to offer to get them for others.

yea,i paid $80 for mine and broke the end of the slide friday.i was micking some black phenolic butt caps and it ribbons when cut,the ribbons grabbed the calipers and flipped them around.the back points stabbed into my hand and the slide bent.that meatl doesn't bend back well,it just snapped.they still work but not the way i was using them friday.
