Is there a rule posted in regards to how many bumps per day? I have seen the question asked several times on multiple threads without any type of answer from a moderator.


My apologies if it has been posted somewhere.

Yes please clarify who ever is in charge because this is the first I've heard of this rule. I too would be breaking rules but didnt know this rule was made?I also know az is going through a lot of change so this would be helpful as a thread like this

Hence, the reason of the thread. I guess it is easy to leave it as a grey area. Then picking and choosing who to reprimand is up their discretion.

I just do not understand the inconsistencies.

I am sure that I read in these threads about the change and AZ asked that posts should not be bumped more than once in a day. I assume this ment by the person posting. I see friends bumping there friends posts all the time with small remarks: Nice cue, I like that wood, Luck with your sale, wish I had some money, ect. ect. ect. keeping the post up front. That is bumping in my opinion. You can put a post on and it will be on the third or forth page it a few hours. It's getting to be like securing the border. Nothing happens.
If everyone would act responsibly we could open the borders and these posts.
The no bump thread above is strong enough.
This coment is actually a bump. I repent.
I do have some posts. Check about 1000 posts back.

But if you'll read the entire post #1, you'll see that it seems to include remarks for other posters as well.

I just think it's quite ambiguous, and the owners seem not to want to go into specifics as to what does or does not violate the rules or the spirit of the rules for anyone posting in an existing for-sale thread.
 
I have NO idea anymore and I don't think anyone else does either!

He says that it is listed in the rules. WHERE? It's not in the sticky.



Why can't a Moderator clarify this question? I bet this thread has been viewed by at least one of them. It's like pulling teeth to get a rule fully explained. In the "rules" it only says No Bumping. What does that mean?

The rules sticky that was posted by Mr. Wilson has been changed on 1/9/12 by Jerry Forsyth and I believe on that day, he took the "One bump per day" statement out of the rules sticky. Check it out for yourself as the edit is time stamped at the bottom of the rules thread with the heading "reason for edit." and says for the reason to be, "clarification."


I read much of the night and go south in the winter...
