MODS on poolstreams get big heads

Hardly a surprise when the names that popup as being pains on the forums seem to also be the same names that are a pain in chatrooms.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the chats add nothing to the stream?

I agree with this. It's also distracting when the commentators keep talking to the chat.

Hadn't noticed that. I have to say that perhaps you are mistaken.
I find it about 50/50. Sometimes good conversation happens and sometimes it's juvenile. Often humorous, sometimes rancid. I often simply go full screen and block them or resize the screen to not see it.
Can be depending on the interaction. I like to listen to chatter that addresses interesting questions. Inside jokes and personal gossip isn't as helpful. I especially don't like it when there is a great match happening and they ignore the play, forget to update the score and don't pay attention to the camera positions.
