Money Match TV 4

Over in the UK we have been running the Money Match TV series for the last three months.

This weekend (18th September) see's event four in this monthly series take place at Vegas Sports Bar in Wakefield.

Demand for places in this head-to-head series has been so high that this event has been extended to include three back-to-back sessions of high quality 9-ball rather than just two.

Each month the 'Winner' of each match stays on and looks to defend the table next time out. The list of players is below, the player on the left is the current champion.

11am Session (6am EST)

2:30pm Session (9:30am EST)

Craig Dixon v Arfan Dad (TV Table)
Dave Nelson v Kevin Simpson

6:00pm Session (1pm EST)

Ben Finch v Andy Barnett (TV Table)
Shane Appleton v Matthew Lawrenson

All matches are 9-ball, race-to-21, winner break for a minimum £500 ($770) per man. TV matches are for £1000 ($1540) per man.

The whole day is available on Pay-per-view with Cuesport TV for just £3.00 ($4.62)

Matches are usually of a very high quality with the majority of the players competing on the GB9 Ball Tour. Please join us if you can.

Neato burrito. I find it odd that there aren't more regular challenge matches schedued by Streamers, but I guess work is a 4 letter word for everybody.

Since streaming has got better for most streamers and almost like tv for a few others I've always said that ppv challenge matches are the way to go. Pool fans learn from them, would spotlight players to becone fan favorites or be the bad guy, fans will bet between themselves on the matches just like the super bowl with friends betting at work, at the bar, or via net/cell. Challenge matches and 8 to 16 top player tournaments is what filled the seats years ago. You can add ring games to this now.

It would be nice if there was 1 or 2 matches on week nights and big ones on the weekend. I think as fans and mainstream found out that there were ppv matches on the net on certain days and times they would start to make time to watch them. Johnnyt
