Monroe Jones cue for sale

Jam up player for sure! Haven't seen him since the late 90s. Didn't know he was into cuemaking.

There's no doubt he's a great player...he's a good friend of mine an he's been building cues for a little while. His jump break cues are without a doubt the best jump breaks I've ever used. There's a saying that u can have a cue the breaks good an a cue that jumps good but u can't have a cue that jumps an breaks good well I completely agree with that until I started playing with 1 of his. Its destroys a rack an jumps effortlessly. I've had everything from Gilbert's, predator, Lomax, mezzanine, etc an even though some broke good they didn't jump that great an vise versa. His playing cues are even better, he learned cuemaking from 1 of the best in the business an he's brought that knowledge over to his cues. I've got a super nice kith josey custom cue that plays unbelievable an I will never get rid of it but I decided to have Monroe make me a cue an I loved it so much I put my josey up an now i just play with my mj cue. The best part is even though his cue play so good his name isn't as well known as a lot of other cuemakers so u get a super nice cue go a hell of a deal. If u wanna know how good they play ask mark Tad he had to have 1 after he played with 1. An for everyone who don't know who mark Tad is, fyi he the best pool player that's ever gambled with maybe the exception of Robbie langford.

He only uses Michigan hard rock maple for his cue...he has to different grades depending on what kind of cue he is building. Most the shafts wont have any morethan 12 growth ring when then there turned down to there final size but he has som super premium shaft wood that when tired down will have any where from 15-18 growth rings. Which I consider pretty freaking good.
