Monroe jones cue

If anyone knows who Monroe Jones is, than you might know he makes pool cues and is a very strong player imo. All i know is that he grew up in Alabama and learned to make cues from Woody Woodworth. I just picked this cue up earlier from Monroe. It hits very solid and feels very nice. If anyone is looking to get a cue, I would recommend Monroe's cues. Two of his cues are available at Jones Brothers Pool Tables in Little Rock, Ar. He will have some more cues available soon. If anyone has any stories to share about monroe, give a shout!! I have cue #10 2011 I was told this was the first cue he put linnen wrap on. IDK if that is true but this cue plays great. It is solid makes a great sound and hits a ton. I bought it at the NAPA nationals in nashville.TN.

I play in the APPA (Arkansas Pool Players Association) and I get to see Monroe here and there.

I actually talked to him quite a bit this past weekend during our league's kick-off tournament. If you can get Monroe to open up and talk a bit, he's actually a pretty nice guy and seems eager to share a lot of pool knowledge.....if you show genuine interest in learning.

And yea, he's a strong player. He got 2nd this weekend, but Ron Allen is pretty stout too.

I'm good friends with Gary Johnson and currently play with one of his cues (it hits lights out!), but I'm thinking about trying to buy one from Monroe sometime on down the line to see how his stuff plays.

It would be nice to collect cues from these good Arkansas players/cuemakers.
