Monster female players

I had to give Sarah Rousey 2 games on the wire in a tournament in Chattanooga once. It was a race to 7 9 ball on the Bar table. I hated all of it. JK. She has a great break and runs out tough too.

It would be hard to rank any female player ahead of Allison Fisher and I think Karen Corr is right there with her. These 2 ladies are at the top in all of the tournaments on the Ladies tour.

I like Jasmin Ouschan and Gy Young Kim as up and coming, if not already there, top female players.

Pros:

Michelle Rakin, by far. I'm not sure how her game is today...but I can almost guarantee that she will never "lose it".

Off the back this is what I thought.

I watched Michelle play at the WPBA event in San Diego last April and she has a great game. I'd love to see her play more WPBA events.

As far as semi-pro women go, I'm keeping an eye on Michelle Rakin. She impressed me during the San Diego stop of the WPBA.

Amatuers - I saw a young gal from Spain playing the BCA Masters in Vegas. I didn't get her name but she played real strong, scary really. I think she could break out if she ironed out some slight flaws in her stroke. Anyone know who she is?
I know who you are talking about but don't know her name. She played pretty sporty :)

She came to our weekly event last week.

2 and out. Failed to win a game...yes, game. Didn't look like she had a very fun evening.
Maybe croquet is not her game.

I would have a tie for first

Allison Fisher and Jean Balukus.
Spoke with Jean at Mohegan Sun and she praise a few players at how good they were. Jean played in a different time she really was a 14.1 player who when to 9ball. Allison still is on top since 1995.

3rd Karen Corr - holds her own on the Joss Tour never mind the APA. As well as did fairly well on IPT events.

4th- Ga Young Kim - Has a gear that could but her as the best. If you ever can see the ICOC final where she played Julie Kelly in the final. It might be the second best performance ever by a women player. Only because it was alt breaks. Allison Fisher vs Vivian 2000 Nationals where Vivian did not pocket a single ball has to be the best womens performance I have seen.

2nd Tier
Jasmine - X. Pan - Kelly Fisher

3rd Tier
Gerda - Jeanette Lee - Vivian

Must also mention.

LJ Jones - Robin Bell Dodson - Ewa

I have many WPBA matches on DVD this is what I base this on.

Players are better today - Jean could play in any era.

I am sure I missed someone.

Keep up the great work ladies.

How do ya not pick Allison or Karen? They have been ruling the roost a long time

Current and past

Gloria Walker and Lori Shampo were as tough a customer you could ever find. Jean was the ALL-TIME greatest
