Well, we have lots of opinions, nearly all of them wrong. But suppose we wanted to try to test for best stroke. What would be the best shot to have the players shoot? A draw shot? How about:asn130 said:...Who would you say has (or had) the best stroke in the game? Just so you know, i define the best stroke as being able make the cue ball appear to defy the laws of physics.
Put an object ball near the side rail by a corner pocket (player gets to choose which side). Place the cue ball along the same rail, at a distance chosen by the player. Draw the cue ball up and down the table. The first cushion the cue ball hits has to be the end rail farthest from the object ball. Record how many lengths plus the last bounce.
Would that make a reasonable test?
