Moori S vs. Kamui S

Kamui soft and Moori soft....anyone know which tip is softer or if they are pretty much the same in terms of hardness?

Very, very similar...you'd be hard pressed to tell any difference blindfolded. Having installed many of each, I'd say the Moori is actually a bit softer. The new Molavia soft is just a tad softer than either.

thanks for the info kevin. never heard of molavia, i'll have to look into them. i'm trying to find the softest layered tip available, if anyone has any other suggestions...

Try the Sniper....not the softest...but it sure does "hit" & play like it. My personal favorite.

Kevin, Whats your take on the "new" security packaged Mooris? I have found the medium to be way harder than the previous Moori II or III, which I like a lot. The new package mediums, at least the few I've tried don't hold chalk well either. Would the new Moori S be similar in hardness to the II or III medium in your opinion?

Yes Martin the new foil packed mediums do indeed "hit" more like the Q (hard) version. The softs seem fairly close to the old softs though...maybe a shade softer than the old med. The Kamui soft is very close the the original Moori med.

Thanks for the info...maybe I'll have to try a Kamui again down the road. I tried them about 3-4 years ago and thought they were horrible. Maybe something has changed.
