I started a thread not too long ago asking for ideas of where to take the legends and champions pool tour with Johnny Archer and Earl Stickland next. I got some great responses and so I need to tak it to the next step. We are looking for pool rooms in the following areas that have the following features, at least 1 9ft table, the majority of clientele are pool enthusiasts, they hold regular tourneys and also host either APA,BCA,TAP leagues etc. Any info you can give me as far as the name of the room, contact person, etc would be of great help. Thanks in advance,
Mark,
1) Charlotte, NC
2) Columbia, SC
3) Augusta, GA
4) Savannah,GA
5) Montgomery, AL
6) Mobile, AL
7) New Orleans, LA
8) Baton Rouge, LA

Hit the northern states before it gets cold and nasty, then go back to the southern states!

How about Des Moines?

Big Dog Billiards - I think they have 7 or 8 9' Diamonds I think they have 2 9' Brunswicks and 1 9' Pinnacle

Plus 30 or so bar boxes. They even have an under age area of the place where the kiddies can hang and bang.

In Montgomery Al Try
The Break Room and
Deja Vu. Both have Diamonds.

My friends own them both. APA League Operators there own The Break Room and Deja Vu is a partnership.

Good Luck

I posted about Rack'em in Matthews where Kelly Fisher gives lessons and I run a tournament every Friday night, during the week the place is packed with league play every night but Friday and Saturday. Please pm me what you need and how much time, there is 12 9 footers and 4 8 1/2 footers so tables is no problem. I can talk to the two owners, father and daughter and see what we can come up with.--Leonard Holmes I'll pm my cell number and I think you have my email poolcuemaster@carolina.rr.com

Western North Carolina- Try Fat Cat's Billiards (Asheville-Arden, Nc). Earl has done a exibition here before.

Charlotte, NC- Try Smokin Cue or the NEW Paradise Billiard Club that will be opening soon.

Greenville, SC- Try Rainbow Billiards (Easley, SC). Larry nevel's stomping ground.

Columbia, SC- Grady's Room (Goose Creek, SC)

Hope this helps and look forward to this coming to the area!

Thanks, I will be giving you a call. Also thank you all for your help as always. I have to put all the peices together and even though these may all m e great pool rooms they don't always want us there so I will have to try everyone and then figure out the dates. Still keep em coming.

Baltimore would be a good spot. Kelly's is probably the best place although there are other decent rooms. Tell Johnny I will take him golfing at Baltimore Country Club too. Earl as well if he golfs, but I know Johnny does. Even if you do it in DC I would take them golfing.

Second that. Hit the Northeast before the bad weather starts and leave the southern states for the dead of winter.

There is room for 4 so I would assume you were in as well.

And Fatboy, I am coming to Vegas October 12 for golf. Where should we play? I am already set at Southern Highlands and possibly Cascata, but where else should I play? I was thinking LVCC would be a good choice. Should I bring my cue too?

LOL, well thank you. We shall see once I figure out the schedule but I know we would love to play if there is time etc. Thanks

It's not in where you suggest but how about (and it's the North East) Chelmsford MA, Country Club USA. The best room I've seen for tournamnets, they even have bleachers.

Pete

Marietta, GA. I hear there is a great room there. The Marietta Billiard Club. Good food, Great tables. Contact Johnny or Kim. Locals would love to see them.;)
