More help identifying a cue

I have this old cue that I think is Oak, but have no idea who made it or what type of wood it is for sure. It is old, but straight and plays really nice, just need to find out who made it and what it is worth. The Joint has R.J.R. stamped on it, but don't know if that is the maker or possibly a previous owner's initials. Here are pics.

It looks like someone doctored up a Brunswick master stroke. I am not quite sold on it being oak. It looks more like hickory, they are similar. I have two Master strokes that are oak so it is possible.

I have an old Master Stroke and I'm pretty sure this cue isn't a Master stroke, although it could be another Brunswick variety...just don't know.
 
Anymore guesses on who made this cue and when it was made?

I tried a 5/16-14 shaft on it and it fit perfect, so I think it might be a an old Master Stroke of some kind and maybe the decal came off. Would like to know for sure about the wood though, and the shaft is a darker style wood that I have never seen before.
 
The cue is a Rich Cue which was made by the Rich cue Company, these cues were made during the 1960's and there where many many made. Some have a pearl ring above the butt cap, some have the marbleized multi-colored plastics that were popular during that time frame and some were plain like this cue. But all used the pictured Brass joint and pin and the Bumper assembly pictured on the cue in your post.

The wood appears to be Zebra wood, which was also commonly used in Rich Cues. The shaft is made from Maple, which appears to have some curl to it, the reason it is so Dark is because of age.
