Dude...a reprint? LOL...that would take like a year or two. Seriously...I am still upset at myself for renewing for three years at Christmas time and so far this year I have two...yes...count em...two issues. The one with Efren and the one with Marcus...I also got the one with Rodney on it as well...but not sure if that was this year or not. Here and online other places are much better with pool articles...Heck JAM writes the best of ANY writer I have ever read in the pool playing world! Why she ain't employed with them I don't know.

LOL, Black-Balled! At least you didn't "crash and burn." :p

FWIW, in my industry, one of the FIRST things to check before releasing a record of an event is name spellings. When the client receives their work product, if somebody's name is misspelled, they will always notice it and complain. They don't care how much time was invested in producing a high-quality comprehensive product, the endless hours of researching peculiar term spellings, but spell their name wrong, and you got a hot tamale on the other end of the phone!

I see MANY things in the pool print media which are totally in error, grammar usage, punctuation, misspellings, just to name a few, but sometimes I think I see things that others may not deem as important. In your instance, though, I believe if you are able to contact InsidePOOL, they will print a correction in the next issue. E-mail them and let them know.

Come play at First Break in Sterling this weekend and get your name back up at the top of the points, so that this time they will get it right! ;)

Oh, Shorty, thanks so much for the flowers! :)

InsidePOOL is an excellent magazine. Although they have experienced a little heat in recent times on the forums, I am hopeful that they will remedy any problems and move forward, full steam ahead.

It is unfortunate that in these times, the pool industry is supported from within. When the sport/game is able to bring in outside monies from non-pool-related entities, everybody will win, to include the print media, independent promoters, industry members, full-time pool players, and "governing bodies of professional pool."

I remember back in '86 when the Federal Government changed the law as it pertains to capital gains and tax writeoffs. Trump came to Washington and testified on Capitol Hill about how the new federally enforced regulations would cause him great financial ruin. They changed the rules midstream in Trump's rise to fame and fortune, but he didn't let it keep him down. He managed to adjust and move forward. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Because the pool industry is such a small culture of sorts, if one entity "changes the rules" from within, it can and will create hardships. Only the strong survive, and in the case of pool people, no matter what your role is, excellence always will prevail in the long run.

In the words of Vincent Lombardi, "When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, THOSE WHO MAKE IT HAPPEN, and those who wonder what happened."

I'm very grateful that there are some folks who are willing to stay the course, no matter what obstacles are thrown their way. Without them, our pool world would not be as bright as it is today. JMHO, FWIW!

I was struck by a flash of genious and emailed the IP folks about my problem. I am pleased to share that I was assured that it would be dealt with and would not occur again. I also rec'd an apology for the error- no finger pointing or deferring of the blame...commendable!
Always need to remember share the positive too!
