Here is a sick piece of coco I just got. I LOVE how the grain runs across instead of down the wood. The pics do no justice to the beauty of it. The last pic is the little progress Ive made building my cnc tapering machine. I know a taig headstock would have prolly worked, but I figured a metal lathe headstock and tailstock would be much more sturdy and accurate. I snatched em off ebay for less than a hundred, and I think it will work out just fine :thumbup:

take that gear off and have some holes put in it to make it a indexing head i would have it drilled and tapped for 5/16x18 and make a solid bar with a bolt so all you would have to do is screw it into the hole you want to secure it, then youll be able to cut points and make deco rings and what not.

just a suggestion.

Great suggestion. That's the great thing about actuators, they have leadscrew.

I'd actually prefer manual b/c it'd be more accurate unless you spend a ton.

That big gear already has index holes drilled in it, and a locking button :) I'm building a different machine altogether to do points and billets, I just don't have enough time to do it all, lol. Ill give you a call this week bro.
