Huge missed opportunity by Dechaine in that first rack. He has no chance unless he can shake the nerves.
 
I just got done helping out with a toy drive and catching up on this thread. How long until the replays are up?
 
Mike's shape was bad even if he made the 8. He's not even not bothering to walk the table for shape. Hard to get were you need to be like that.
 
I'm just curious. Often when an American player misses a shot, their cue goes sideways, almost as if they were trying back-hand English, but in most cases I am sure they weren't.

Have any of you seen ANY of the Europeans' cues go sideways when they miss a shot? I probably just haven't paid enough attention to the Europeans cue going sideways but I would like to know if any of you have noticed that.
 
If Dechaine wins the next match to tie the score surely it has to be Melling vs Archer for the cup.

I would say study the matches later and see if what you think you see is actually there.
 
Another missed opportunity from Dechaine. 2-0 NVB, who must feel like he can't lose now. This is painful to watch.
 
Why is Jay Helfert being sooo negative tword the US team. It's 1-0, and he's saying that last shot was the undoing of the US team... K'mon Jay!
 
I think its unprofessional foe Jay to say "He's America's undoing" when the score is 2-0.

I'd rather matchroom hail the first cab and replace Jay with who ever is driving it,

He said MIGHT be. And he is right. When a shot like that is missed it can unravel a player and put them on tilt. If that happens then Mike has no shot to win and so the USA has no shot to win.
