Mosconi Cup 2025, Dec. 3-6, Alexandra Palace, London

Does anyone know where I can actually find the in-progress scores? For an event that’s apparently so important to the tour, they sure do a shit job of making information about it easy to find…

Savvy as you are, Garczar, you really do have some ... curious views.
Its his coping mechanism.

Anyway, I hope USA gets on their feet. The Reyes Cup was kind of boring and a similar result, with Europe winning would be equally boring tbh.

When it's kind of close the Mosconi Cup is perhaps the most fun event to watch!

How do like your chances playin Shane a race to five vs. a race to eleven 9b??
Of course I'd rather play a longer race. Luck plays less a role in longer races ...

ANYTHING can happen in a race to five.
... but talent still wins out in the long run, short races or long.

You live for this deal i get it but don't put too much meaning in the outcome.
I enjoy the Mosconi because of the loud and in-to-it crowd. Sure beats a dead crowd at the WPC.

I also enjoy seeing pool players under the most intense pressure they will face in their professional careers. Being a fan of all other sports, I know pressure separates the wheat from the chaff and the great from the not so great. That's why I watch playoffs of most major sports.

Does it change world rankings?
No, it doesn't change the rankings. SVB is still, arguably, the best player ever despite little Mosconi success. I get it.
Of course not. Its entertaining for what it is
That's how I take it. Entertaining for what it is. I won't lose sleep over who wins or loses.

Man. You really have issues if you put this much effort into what/why i post on here.

I hope we don't see Gorst and SVB paired again. Maybe they have been unlucky. Or maybe it would be better to just split up two alpha dogs.

Can't believe the litany of errors that's lead to being 2-0 down. The US could easily be 2-0 up.

Not saying they are done if Sky loses his singles match, but the Fat Lady is going start practicing.

Gorst will always be paired with Fedor, I'm sorry to say.

2-0 for Europe
The Americans look shaky and nervous, the Europeans are just having fun, a stroll in the park
Therein lies the difference. Europe's best two players in the MC aren't just elite in general, but they relish the pressure, and that helps ease the rest of the team, too. They expect to dominate at the MC and everyone on Team USA is just hoping they don't screw up.
