I enjoy this....as I do at times with boxing and other sports. But is this barking being seen/heard/felt by the general public or just targeted mostly at the pool community???????

Almost nothing major about pool seems to be seen/heard by the general public... well, in the USA.
In europe, maybe some random joe on the street hears about the mosconi cup.
But over here... even in a pool hall only half the players or fewer have heard of it.
And they're not seeing the promotion/woofing unless, well, they're on AZB.

I'd have to say that number is less than 5% of the players in the halls near me would ever have heard of/care about/watched any of the mosconi cup. Even as for myself I do know of it, but i don't know any details of it, or really ever watched any of it before.
Nada , have not even seen any mention of pool, snooker or any kind of cue sports on global news network like CNN, Bloomberg, CNBC, Al Jazeera. BBC may have mentioned snooker but never seen pool coverage. Even burger eating competitions, sack races have been covered
There is probably more coverage of the 2 Thanksgiving turkeys Caramel and Popcorn on major news network than total coverage of pool/billiards in the last 50 years.:grin-square:

And the BCA put Matchroom Sports into the HOF....and Zippo, but they sure like tootin' their own horn, sound familiar? :deadhorse::thud: There's one thing for sure, samo/samo works the Same is it always has.
