Mosconi cup Captain 2017?

Hello AZ world long time looked short term poster,

I was wondering if this was asked already and maybe I missed the bus on this one.

With Mr. Mark Wilson stepping down as Captain who will be coaching the team or will we go back to a player Captain. What are your thoughts to Johnny Archer, Scott Frost, Rodney Morris, Tony Robles.Or going to some old school players like Andy Segal CJ Wiley who has brought us a champion ship before.

Can we get Upstate Al to do the Play announcing. How about letting some of the ladies in the door like Karen Corr. We all do forget that Janet Lee was part of the tea along with Vivian Villarreal at one time. If we start the hype now with the Mosconi cup coming back to America this year lets get behind our players and put together a great team.

Think you mean Mike not Andy(trick shots). Vivian is an absolute NO!
Karen is not from the US, if she comes in do we then get Shaw Darren, Mika etc? Actually I'll take those 4, how can it be worse. Might as well add Allison

Or maybe you're a month late because this topic was discussed ad nauseam in December after the Mosconi Cup concluded.

This horse was beaten to a bloody pulp and what was left was sent off to the Kamui glue factory some time ago.

IMO with a captain/coach that can up the mental game, home advantage, and add Thorpe minus Mike D, we have a 50/50 chance of winning. Trying to change the fundamentals on players that have been playing since grade school is asking for disaster IMO. We beat the Europe players, or at least held our own with them in the major tournaments here in the states.

Most old time played in poolrooms, but also many of us hustled in dive bucket of blood bars, with loud jukes, yelling, fights, and getting bumped while shooting. I think they were tougher mentally. Johnnyt

It is always a good idea when starting an important thread
to first do a quick search to see what has come before on the topic.
In this case, a ton.

Also, if very interested in a topic,
to first understand the governing rules, such as eligibility.
This would have totally changed your views.

Will i totally agree with you on "searching before posting". So many threads are started that have already been covered, at times ad nauseam. A simple search will quite often get you where you want to go.
