Game 9.
Stepanov breaks dry and Shane has a shot at the one.
Shane attempts a safe amd plays it a little slow. The one is by the head rail and the CB is by the footrail left corner.
Stepanov gets a lucky clip of teh six and the crowd boos as the CB goes three rails and hides.
SVB jumps the one and almost gets it safe but it hits the seven and stays in the open.
Stepanov makes the one but has nothing on the two. He plays a safe on the two gets it hidden behind half an eight ball.
Shane kicks at the two and almost gets the kick safe but goes a little long. leaving no open shot but a possible safe.
Stepanov misses the safe and has an open shot on the two in the side.
Shane makes the two in the side and barely avoids a scratch up in the corner.
He shoots the three full table at a 15 degree angle and plays perfectly controlled shape to get on the four. Shane makes the five, six, seven and eight to take the gameand the lead 5-4.

Shane breaks and gets a legal break but the one and the three stay together and make it difficult to pot the one. he's forced to play safe and plays an excellent safe hiding the cue behind three balls and leaving the one up by the head rail.
Stepanov hits the ball but leaves the one open.
Shane plays a safe and leaves a window open with little shot though.
Stepanov misses the shot but gets a lucky roll off of the two and forces Shane to play safe.
Shane plays the bank instead and makes a full table bank on the one.
HE then plays a jam up safe against Stepanov. leaving all of the balls on the table in between the CB and the two.
Stepanov makes a two rail kick shot to hit the two but leaves it open.
Shane makes a cut on the two and gets excellent shape on the three. Shane sets up for the four bank past the six into the side. Shane makes the four bank with shape on the six although the CB is right on the rail. He manages to setup perfect for a seven eight combo as the seven didn't have a pocket.
Shane makes the combo with shape on the seven.
Shane gets a little close on the nine but makes it in the side to take the match and start to turn the tables on the Euros.

super exciting, it is so much different watching it live, you can feel the tension with the players. SVB has enough class to share, maybe he can give some to Earl.
