With the Mosconi Cup right around the corner, many of us pool aficionados, fans, and enthusiasts are gearing up for the battle. It is always a professionally run event, enjoyed by all. It's kind of nice that the 20th anniversary is on the U.S. home court.
With that said, all pool websites are well aware of this event happening next week. I wonder if Matchroom or anybody else, for that matter, will see to it that it gets mentioned in the American mainstream sports news. I would think this could be a golden opportunity to let pool shine brightly in a good way.
I realize Matchroom is busy preparing for this venue, but I hope the news of the Mosconi Cup happening is disseminated to non-pool-related media sources.
Everybody on the pool websites has their opionion. I just read that Rodney Morris predicts the sore to be 11 to 5, favor of Team USA. I like his enthusiasm.
I'm thinking the score is going to be close this year. I don't think one team will run away with it. What do you think? I think there's going to be a tiebreaker match.
