Both teams have won a match today (SVB beat Drago. Fiejen/Souqet def Strickland/Morris). Europe 6 - USA 4

USA is leading the current set 4-1 (going to 5). This game looks good for USA after a very good safety by JJ and then a great combo by Archer. Archer hangs a hard 3 ball and Europe lets the cueball go. Then two nice cuts for shape on the out. NOw 4-2 with US breaking.

If no one is listening, I will not post more updates.

USA breaks dry. Europe making a couple tough shots trying to get in line. Nearly hangs the 5. Now they are running easily. Score USA 4-3. Europe breaking.
 
Europe breaks dry. Archer hangs the one ball. Europe running. Mika bumps 9 at super sharp angle just to clear the path of the seven and pockets the nine on a cut that you wouldn't play with ball-in-hand.

Match score 4-4. USA on final break. Game is hill-hill. USA makes a ball, clips the two, and gets a lucky safe. Mika plays a two-rail incredible safety. USA hits ball and gets lucky on the leave.

Gray plays perfect speed to seperate the cue and two ball with numerous balls between. US hits ball but leaves it open. I was certainly not rooting against the US, but Europe played phenomenal to come back from 4-1 to win with some exceptional play.

Europe now up 7-4.


I have gotten no responses, so I guess I am done updating.

What a comeback from Mark and Mika. Well played. It was great to see that Mark Gray played good. I like his style, but he is the weakest link in this team. Great to see him perform well, hope he will continue to do so in the evening session!!!

MIKA Is playing better than anyone in the would right now.. No Doubt. You are right Mark is the weakest link and he plays very well......
