Yeah I am also angry about missing out on it. Hopefully somehow someway I will get to see it.
 
Last year the ESPN3 Deal wasn't worked out until a week prior... Hopefully this year it will be the same way.... Will check with a few people and see if that's already been taken off the table....

I thought about a month ago or so I understood Alvin to say that inside pool may be streaming this for free............?
 
What a shame, possibly the highest profile pool event out there and it can't be viewed by everyone who wants it.

And to steal johnnyt's $5, they ought to be ashamed!!

I think that might just be one of those rumors. Legally, I don't see how anybody can live-stream this for free. :wink:

You would think the captain or someone would call matchroom sports and ask them how the peeps in the good ol usa can view the match. Does everyone have to be so dis frickin organized when it comes to pool?
 
I think the exact thing happened last year, the official site said that it was not available to watch in my area. EDIT -- see this thread from 2012 http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=298154&highlight=espn+mosconi&page=2 same thing as now.

However, someone posted a link to an ESPN web stream that worked for me just fine even though the direct link from ESPN did not work due to my ISP not being part of whatever they select to work from (Charter cable in MA). I need to find that old link again, it worked very well. I think it was espn.go or something similar.

EDIT -- I just checked the ESPN3 site, it showed Charter as a valid service provider! Seems like most of us should be able to watch this thing now, if it's shown the same way as the 2012 Cup.

For years everyone I know of has been able to view it. Last year there were bunch of streams. I don't have a cable provider to tap ESPN3 or whatever. Always got it free and resolution clear.

We just didn't know all the streams and what the best ones were until last second. AZers do trial and error and post on AZ which is working well. Be patient, it's safe to say you can buy popcorn in advance.
