Mosconi Cup on the Net or T.V.

If you can get SkySports-3, you can watch it for free, I guess, but here in America, we can't.

There is a Livestream.TV that offers it, but not if you live in United States. MatchroomSports.com has the link.

Best of luck to you. I hope you get it. :)

What time is the 1st match again? My mind is still on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. LoL.

Somebody said it is supposed to be shown at the Mosconi Cup ceremony, so maybe 4 p.m. Eastern Time, on December 2nd? Not sure. If I find out for sure, I will post back in this thread.

Poor Earl. I loved this documentary. I wish he'd wear sleeves, though. Don't like those sleeveless shirts. His commentary, however, is priceless. Good stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Tv

Not yet. But last year, it was the same thing. We didn't get word of ESPN-3 until the last minute.

I must say that I am disappointed that someone from the American pool media did not have any spare time to attempt to contact mainstream media for this most prestigious event in pool. Maybe they have, and I am not aware of it, but if I was in the media, I'd be contacting eveyrone I know about it, to get it aired.

Here it is on American soil, and we can't watch it? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!

Like everybody else in the pool world, it's every man for themself, I guess. What else is new?

Fox Sports 2 has it, but you have to have Direct TV or one of the other cable providers to get it. Comcast, which is what I have, doesn't have Fox Sporst 2.

I have written to LiveSport.TV to see if we can get it from them online, just in case we can. I am still waiting for a reply.

I'm just wondering if anybody in the pool world has any email address for any ESPN or Fox sports execs in charge of programming that we could lobby. It seems to me if before these larger events if someone would post a thread with details and contact information so AZB users could lobby for broadcasting we might be able to eventually get our voices heard.

Actually, all you need is 2 cables (video & audio) to get it on your tv. Depending on your laptop and TV, that dictates what cables you need. You could take your laptop to Best Buy or Radio Shack if you're unsure. Bring your tv model # written down. It'll run you somewhere from $30 - $75 depending on quality of cables. I dropped $40 and it looks/sounds great.

Then load the feed on your laptop, click and hold "Fn" and then the F button with crt/lcd written on it. F buttons may very, but once you know, it's truly a walk in the park. Watching on a nice flat screen vs a computer is such a difference!

Then you can stream Hulu or whatever and drop cable, lol.

Hope that helps.

Great advice from matt, as always. Here is a bit more. many computers and TV's have HDMI ports or display ports. It passes audio and video thru one cable. if your flat screen tv (most likely does) has hdmi and your laptop desktop does as well you can connect via hdmi, press the windows key and P at same time and you can set up dual monitors. If you only have vga or dvi connections you can pass video, may need adapter, and the audio thru separate cables. The fn key thing matt describes works but windows and P simultaneously is a bit easier. You can PM me w/questions or check w/your choice of geek techs. Forward thinking as always from matt.

Matchrooms owner is going into the American Hall Of Fame, yet he can't even give us a stream. Mark G belongs in there way before him. Johnnyt
