I thought the playing surface of a 9' table was 50x100 inches. In fact I'm sure of it.Just put a tape measure. Side pocket slate edge to edge 50 1/8''. Corner pockets slate edge distance approx 110''.
Thank you Stu. The side pockets killed many run outs. At a sharp angle there was just no pocket to shoot at. Several players remarked they looked like snooker pockets. The corners played a little looser than the specs suggested they would, but the side pockets were super tough. In my opinion the table offered a fair test for the world's most elite.

I think he means diagonally corner to corner, shelf edge to shelf edge. 110” is about right for that.I thought the playing surface of a 9' table was 50x100 inches. In fact I'm sure of it.![]()
I think Buddy Hall, in particular, would have approved of these playing conditions. Buddy always felt that most pro players play too many shots into the side pockets.Thank you Stu. I agree. Corners are more often the safer bet on any table.I think Buddy Hall, in particular, would have approved of these playing conditions. Buddy always felt that most pro players play too many shots into the side pockets.
