You don't have a clue as to what sells pool, it's that plain and simple.
What was McEnroe fined? 5 K MAYBE? When he's knocking down a million or two? For that ONE tournament. Yeah, I'm sure he 'suffered' from it.
How many times have you brought up that Okamura incident? Damn dude, the past is the past. You don't see me talking about Jane Fonda and the Vietnam war ....over and OVER. Give it a break!!
Sit back and watch of the greatest players to ever hold a stick, while you can.

Apparently I'm not the only one who has no clue as to "what sells pool." You think earl sells pool? What has he done FOR the game, besides perpetuate the wonderful image pool has? Who, besides a fan of pool, even knows who he is? Give me a break. He sells pool about as well as you articulate a point - you both suck at it. Please, clue me in as to what sells pool, because if you know, you've figured out what nobody else has for the last 30 years.
I can list incident after incident involving earl's stupid behavior. Can you list incident after incident where earl has actually helped the game of pool?
In any case, you've missed the point of my post, or you ignored it in order to make some pointless red-herring analogy involving Jane Fonda. The point was that maybe earl wouldn't be such a dick at events if he had to pay a penalty for his behavior. BTW, since you mentioned it, McEnroe NEVER won a million dollar tournament. They didn't exist when he was playing. McEnroe was also suspended for two months once. Let's see how earl would behave if that (or worse) were a possible ramification for his childish behavior.
Why don't you stop swinging from earl's scrote for 2 seconds and learn to READ? I didn't bring up Okamura, Superstar did. I do bring up examples of earl's fine upstanding behavior from time to time to point out the fact to fanboys like you that he's a dick, plain and simple. You don't like me pointing out that fact, put me on your ignore list. I'll give it a break as soon as you stop nut-swinging.
I'll definitely sit back and watch one of the greatest players to ever hold a stick while I can - I love to see Efren play. When Efren's in the house, not only do fans watch, PLAYERS watch.

It's not just my mind. Ask ANY promoter and they will tell you Earl is the biggest draw on the planet. People pay to see him, they come out of the woodwork to see him. People from near and far...all sorts of people, from all classes. Does that tell you anything....there MUST be a reason.
And yes, I'm biased. But realistic.
Biased? No doubt. Realistic? Let's hold off on that one....
Yet another fine post. The biggest draw on the planet is earl? PUH-LEEZE. You think anybody besides an American earl fanboy would make that statement? Efren is worshipped in the Philippines, by fans and non-fans, by players and non-players. earl gets maybe two more idiot nut-swinging fanboys at the Open (which, sadly, just might make him the biggest draw in the US). Do you honestly think earl would out-draw Efren, Bustamante, or Yang in Asia? Even better, do you think ANY promoter has ever done a statistical analysis to determine whether or not earl draws more fans than any other pro, ie Archer? Have you ever actually talked to a promoter? I have. I bet it's a 50/50 split between "he might sell two extra tickets" or "do I really want to put up with the headache?" People come out of the woodwork for earl? Near and far? C'mon, earl ain't Bruce Springsteen - he ain't even Gary Coleman on that radar....
