Mosconi cup wildcards

given that USA almost beat the same euro team while still having to babysit earl for a week, that doesn't seem impossible
No
Put Wolford's sets late and run with the other 4.
Jump on them and get it.
I'd bet they are 35 to 40% to win.
And I definitely will bet those lines.

Congrats to players on both teams! How awesome it will be one day to be able to show your kids/grandkids this event.

Hidden in USA’s pool demise is the fact that major cities aren’t producing talent.

Team USA by home town:

Rapid City, SD.
Paducah, KY
Vernon, WI
Troutville,VA
Moscow, Russia

Fedor comes from a city that has 100 times the population of the rest of Team USA combined.

Points are earnings in 2023 ranking events.

Agree with Jay that this team has a very real chance to win the Mosconi Cup. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. Even though a good case could have been made for others, the Wolford choice meets with my fullest approval. He has fully dedicated himself to the Matchroom tour and now reaps the rewards of having done so.

Lest we forget, Johan Ruijsink set the precedent of going young when he selected Tyler Styer as a wild card in 2018, and Tyler contributed significantly to Team USA's victory that year, and Tyler has been a solid contributor on Team USA ever since. The Wolford pick is reminiscent of that pick. Nobody knows how he'll perform, but he'll begin to gain some experience on one of professional pool's biggest stages. Best of luck.

This is the best team (thank you Fedor!) the USA has had in many years. I see these guys really jelling with each other. If the odds are right I'm betting USA this year. Something feels right for them now! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Shane is at the peak of his career, more mature than ever before. Skylar has really become a world class competitor, able to hold his own against anyone. Tyler (thanks to his marriage and all he has gained from it) has broken through in his game to a whole new level. Shane W. is fired up and ready to take on the world. As for Fedor, I need say no more. Only one of the best (if not THE best) players in the world. What an acquisition he is, even better than having Alex and Morra (oh how I wished for that for so many years). I need say no more. Europe will have their hands full with this team. This is one time I wish I was on the commentary team again.
Agreed 100%, this team has a very real chance to win back the Cup.
