Mosconi Updates Please

Dennis is looking like a different player from yesterday.....he's focused and playing much better. He just made the 9 ball on the break and is up 3-1 against Ralf. Come on Dennis.........

1, 2, 3 9ball combo.

4-1 Dennis.........

I'm wondering if he's one of the owners of the universal clothing brand he's wearing one of the shirts

I think you may be right. That must be it because all Team USA is wearing that clothing line today.

Does anybody know if Dennis' son made it to Vegas? Dennis said he may fly back to Vegas for the Mosconi Cup to see his father compete in it. I wonder if he is there.

Rack 5.. Ralph almost makes the 9 in the side same way Dennis did, but it does not go in, Dennis runs a few balls then makes an early 9 ball combo.

Up 4-1 now, first real momentum the US has had.

Ralph has missed two very easy shots this rack. He is not himself. Dennis has an opening to get to the hill! Told you guys I liked this matchup for the hatchetman!!!

Ralf couldn't get to the table fast enough after Dennis missed that ball.

Souquet is having the worst luck with that intercom going off, unless that's the 10 second shot clock warning.

Rack 6.
Dennis leaves Ralph no shot on the 2, Ralph leaves Dennis a shot.
2 ball down, Dennis going through the rack, makes a 3 rail shape shot on the 5 but is a bit short for an easy hit, the 7 will be in the way. He misses the 5, probably had his focus on the 7 and shape on the 6 off it. Leaves an easy out for Ralph.

Ralph gets a bit sharp on the 6 but cuts it in the corner with great shape on the 7 in the side, easy shot, roll up for straight in on the 8, a small draw shot to the 9, Ralph takes the game.

4-2 Dennis still up.

Why does Dennis have to keep talking to the crowd? He needs to stay focused on the game. Watch Dennis' eyes, even when he's at the table. He's always looking around at the crowd. No good!

Ever think he's looking around the room to find how much time is on the shot clock?

No. That didn't dawn on me, I guess. I see him do between rounds too.

Ralf's eyes are fixated ALWAYS on the table. Different strokes, I guess.
