which do you think provides the low end cue that is best worth your money?

Players
Action
Lucasi
Mcdermott
J&J
Poison
Falcon
Joss

was somehow thinking of getting a secondary play cue, just in case something happens.

cheers!

Get a custom made sneeky pete. Way more bang for the buck and they hold their value much better than a production cue. Other than that I would consider a plain McDermott as you can adjust the weight easily untill you know what you like. Later you can upgrade your playing cue and keep either cue as a break cue.

You missed Viking as well.

Most of them are decent, just depends on testing them out and seeing what you like. I would not get an Action and J&J is borderline, unless it is the Kaiser line which is better.

From your list: Joss.

Though, you probably could find a nice sneaky pete conversion in that price range. But if your not into waiting, I would go with Joss.

GOOD BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
Mcdermott
Joss

SUGGESTION
Dufferin Sneaky Pete
They can be found pretty easy for between $50-$200. Solid cue and a great alternative if you like the hit of a full splice cue.

Actaully Players is the same company as Lucasi, and the Players line is not bad esp if you spend like 70 bucks, the ones I have looked at rolled very straight I was surprised.

Agreed. Players makes a great entry level cue, IMO.

I had two players and they warped on me and that was with proper storage. Yeah, good value for the money....I would just spend my money elsewhere personally.

Good to know, they have a warranty against warpage now.

***All Players Cues now come with a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturer defects including WARPING. Everything is covered under this warranty expect for wraps and tips.***

I have a Lucasi that is 2 years old. It is still dead straight and plays just fine. The only thing I have had to do to it was tighten the wieght bolt.
For under $200 they are worth a look at. Anymore then that there are better options.
Pechauers start at $225.

Get a RAT cue by Ryan Theewen. Sells out of the Muellers catalog and website. I saw his cues at VF and they are very affordable quality made customs cues.
