What are performance points?

Do you guys not use the 3 point system with the the average points earned?

I'm not, but my question was not answered so I ask again....

What are these points you speak of and does your area not use the 3 point system with the average earnings as said point as your MVP?

Teams use the 3 pt system. They have a individual Top Gun award. You get zero points for a loss and the points exact of the handicap number of who you beat for a win.No drops so playing every week is a big factor and also if you play a team with a guy also going for the lead the team throws up a 2 on you so you get minimum points.

What are you saying? You need some glasses?

The APA hasn't used that method for determining the MVP for a few years here.

I can only guess the LO there maintained that for some reason.

Both methods have their plus and minus aboit them. I personally think they need to find a way to combine the 2 methods. The way they do it now, % of avaliable points, gives you 3 if you rackless a 2 or 7.

This is an award called "top gun" geared towards the 5-6-7s.MVP is still by win points on the 3 pt system.

Never heard of that and being my league is ran by the actual APA home office, I'm going to guess that is a LO thing. Good for them, never hurts to do extra things for your players.
