I can't play, but I have potential! Ronnie told me that about a million years ago. I wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not.

I can give a good game to most, I would honestly rate myself a good B player who can bring an A game when needed. I work all the time and pool is my favorite past time, I love the game!. I wish I had more time to play. I like playing tournaments and win my fair share of them and enjoy the competition.

I like to think that I'm a decent player. I was ranked #1 in Shizuoka prefecture 3 years straight. Been sponsored in the All-Japan Amateur tournament 4 times, high run of 7 consecutive racks in 9-ball, various tournament wins and a closet full of trophies. But, that was more than 10 years ago. I had a 6 year period where I didn't even drive past a pool room. Now, I still play well enough to give a good game but I'm not in tournament shape anymore. I don't gamble other than a friendly "Let's play for table time or drinks" type stuff so that doesn't figure into anything. Either way I'm still ranked in the SA class here. Wish they would move me down to A. I may join a tournament or 2 if they did. But, on the other hand, for the past year and a half or so I've been concentrating on 3-cushion billiards. Even then I'm still only going to the pool hall once or twice a week.
Nah, lately I've been focusing on my guitar. Plenty happy with that.
