Movie: Pool Hall Master

The movie isn't ready yet. The scene ironman was in should of read that a scene from that movie had just been shot. We still have about 6 more scenes to finish. We will be shooting through mid August and then finish the editing by the end of August. I am trying to give the pool/billiard community a movie about pool by real pool players. I don't want to give you a movie that will show you a total of 5 minutes of pool total. I want to give you a movie with some great pool playing and not spend too much time as a love story. I am reversing the roles here, I am not spending a great deal of money to bring in actors pretending to be pool players, I'm letting real pool players act. Acting almost as natural as they would in this type of environment. You won't be disappointed.

Good luck with your movie Joe. I know it's been a labor of love. I want a copy too.

I want a part. Any wannabe science nerd roles open? I'll bring my own pocket protector.

The movie Pool Hall Master was just completed this weekend in San Antonio Texas. According to Joe Santos who wrote, produced, and directed the whole thing, it should be available around June.
It will feature Gabe Owen, Corey Duel, Sylver Ochoa, Ralfeal Martinez, Robert Newkirk, and yes, myself.
It was fun and is mainly about one pocket. Yes, there are some crazy shots in it.
We will keep you posted about it.

Is this a theatrical production with a story line or more like a documentary? Either way I'm interested, but just curious if it will be in the theaters.

It does have a story line and one that alot of pool players can identify with. It won't make it to theaters but it will be on DVD. I am working on the sequel right now and hope to start shooting that in November or December. I will be posting something on the "Pool Hall Master" website and will be looking for more pool/billiards talent. The synopsis of the sequel will be there in November. The "Pool Hall Master" website will be up and running in about two weeks with photos and film clips. I have been around pool/billiards for over forty years and pool players are one-of-a-kind breed.

Keep your practice up cause I might be calling on you'll for the sequel.

We are only 3 scenes away from completing the movie "Pool Hall Master". Our website is slowly coming up. You can see a couple of clips from the movie by going to www.poolhallmaster.com. You will see a shot made by Corey Deuel which is out of this world. On the other side you will see an amazing shot made by Gabe Owen. These are scenes shot while they played each other at a VIP Lounge in San Antonio. We are getting ready to start putting some trailers from the movie within the next two weeks. More information will be coming then also, including when and where the movie will be ready. On the www.poolhallmaster.com webpage, you will be able to see what the DVD cover and the T-Shirt will look like.

Soon you will be able to contact us on that webpage.
