What's the easiest way to shift a pool table about 20 feet?

[...waiting for punchline about the use of explosives, or of cutting a hole in the floor and the floor below it, and letting the table drop two stories...]

P.S.: Tim, all kidding aside, you might get a better/more-focused response if you post this in the "Talk to a Mechanic" forum.
A friend uses car tire dolleys (4 of them) to move his 8' table around in his garage. He jacks up one side with a jackall, puts the dolleys under that sides feet, then does the other side.

Every farmer around here has a jackall and dollys
Dave <-- has a jackall and a few dollys
Cool, thanks. Now to find someone who's got some to lend for free...
Actually, does he find jacking it up and moving it alters the slates at all? I'm concerned they will move and the seals between them will break.
Good question, I am not sure if the standard Valley bar table has a 1 piece or 3 piece slate. I do know that the table has been moved many many times but shows no problems on the playing surface (he moves the table to the side of the garage to make room for his car in the winter, at least twice a week).
Try a local garage (where car mechanics work) for the dollys, or rent some, they should be really cheap to rent for a day. Any jack will do, including the scissor jack from the boot of your car, just be sure of the jacking point on the table.

would like a clean snatch n jerk, so to speak.
I'm no mechanic, nor have I ever moved a table like this. I don't, however, like the idea of jacking a table up high enough at either end to get a dolly or rollers under it. I'd be concerned that raising the end that high would create enough distortion or stress on the table's structure to cause slate seams to pop, or some of the frame joints to separate.SAM 9ft, and heavy. Floor tiles, vinyl/plastic, in poor condition, so dragging not an option.
Thinking about rollers, but not sure what or how. Don't really want to damage the slates, so would like a clean snatch n jerk, so to speak.
