I am about to set up my pool room and i would like to know what is the best way to move around pool tables?

what is the most efficient/best way to move table from one side of the room to other side of room.

If you have carpet, get a set of furniture sliders.
Go easy, and dont pull the table by the rails.
Ive moved gc3's by myself with them and a floor jack.

Since nobody else has said it...... Ideally once a 3 piece slate table is put together and leveled, it stays put. Ive seen people use dollies and jacks to move assembled tables, and you usually end up with popped slate seams at best, and have to tear it down and redo it anyways. Not saying it cant be done....... but its not usually a good idea.

If it's a three piece slate (8' or 9') pay to have it moved. A bar table (7') you can use furniture sliders if you are careful.

Too much can go wrong with a moving a three piece slate, even if its only a few feet. Don't think I'd risk it.

So rails have to come off, cloth comes off, wax or rock hard or bondo removed from joints then slate removed and table re assembled.

If you want it to be level, find someone to move it for you properly, $150-$200?

In a room I helped set up years ago, we used a rolling motorcycle jack and lifted each table with that.

We laid 4x4 beams across the jack to spread the table load. No seams were hurt.

The jack we used probably cost enough that just paying to have the tables moved and re leveled would be better. It was super nice, from a Ducati dealership.

And if the table get damaged from lifting the expense gets worse. Do it right the first time. Hire an experienced table tech.

Moved many tables in my room for tournaments or events with no issue at all. Used dollies we made for each leg and a car jack. Never had a cracked slate or lifted seam. If you plunked them back in the same spot never had a problem being out of line either. Just take your time and be careful.

We have to do it once it a while. I bought 4 metal car dollies from harbor freight. Slowly lift each end and put one under each foot. One person can move 9 footers pretty easily.
