MPA promoter John Stitch at it again.....

I just want to thank John Stitch and the MPA for having another great tournament at Two Stooges today.

They added $1000 and it was split up into 4 divisions.

In a way I hate to see the money split so many ways but I see the friends I have here in the Twin Cities area and the players I have worked with playing their butts off.

The room owners have to love it because the place was packed. That's what it's all about. Giving them a return on their added money.

John just got done at Treasure Island a couple of weeks ago and did the same thing. Packed the house. I'm sure the Casino had to love that also.

There are alot of great promoters around the world today but I just wanted to thank John Stitch and the MPA for the action and interest he has stirred up here.

I definitely agree with you Geno.
I love what the MPA is doing and wish great success to them.


Even though splitting money is no fun, I really like the separate "C" division they are trying.
I think it will get a lot more people interested in pool around here. At least it will get those "C" level players into tournaments which they might not have been inclined to do in the past.

I'm glad to hear Stooge's was a success.
Do you know if they advertised this tourney at all? I didn't realize there was a tournament until I read an email from John the day before. I wish I could have made it.

P.S. The tournament at Treasure Island was a great location...I hope we're back there next year!
