I would just like to make an observation that I've kind of stumbled across. I convinced myself quite a while ago that the Predator shafts were the way to go and have bought one for every cue I've owned for the last 5 yrs.A few weeks ago I picked up my Rempe from my collection and shot a rack with it.It 's still got the original whippy shaft that Moochies are famous for and I could not believe how this cue felt and shot.I don't know if it was the sealed wrap or the shaft or the balance but it has replaced my Lebow in by case. I thought some old diehards would like to hear that! Don

The old flat faced Meuccis were great playing cues. Something happened to that quality after they got so big. Hate to say it, but it's true.
 
Jay, This cue has great touch and got even better after I put a moori on it.I'm surprised that some of the pro's don't still use them. Don

Many did at one time. Varner, Rempe, Earl, Buddy, David, Larry Hubbart and a few others. Not a bad lineup. They just got better deals from other cuemakers and switched their allegiance. But I know they liked playing with the Meucci's back then, when Bob used to make them himself.

Remember Don, the new Meucci's (for the last 10-15 years) are just not the same cues. I don't care what anyone says, the hit is different. It doesn't mean they can't still make a good cue if they want to. It just doesn't seem to be a priority anymore. It's all about quantity, not quality.

Well,for now the old cue feels like magic. I'm gonna go with the flow and I'll let you know. Don
 
I love my Moochie Sneaky Pete!! It has a purpleheart butt and it is a very late 80's early 90's model before all of the red dot black dot bs started. Plays great:)
