My 1000 Post

Well it says I have been a member since 2004 and I finally have my 1000 post. But really I have been on this site since the very beginning under different screen names. I was fortunate to go back to the very beginning of all this with RSB. I even remember talking to Mike when he was first starting AZ Billiards as a publication.

So, you all get the point. I'm an old basterd... But I want to tell everyone I enjoy this site and the participants (ok, most) very much. Though I am not as prolific as some, I'm usually on here at least twice a day. I enjoy being e-friends with many of you that go back to the beginning like I do.

So, thanks Mike for your hard work on this site. Thanks to everyone for keeping an old guy plugged in.

Wow! Bob, you are a veteran, going back to RSB. I was a genuine newbie on RSB. It was the first place I ever posted on the Internet in a forum, and, man, did I get a crash course on forum culture. :grin-square:

I've made some friends online, some of whom have gone on to celestial shores, saving me a seat on the rail, I guess. Remember Frank Glenn from RSB? There was another guy, Hugh Arnold from Ohio, and, of course, then there's Smorgie. WilleeCue made Keith a custom cue with his name on it when he met me on RSB, which we still have. It was a gift I will never forget. :smiling-heart:

There are some nice pool peeps for sure, and then you have the good, the bad, and the, oh, so very vulgar and ugly. :eek:

Congratulations on your 1,000th post. I look forward to the next 1,000. :)
