My $150 Brunswick Anniversary

Thats right, i just picked up an Brunswick Anniversary for $150. The only real problems it has is the bases have received water damage. Does anyone have any info or web sites i can use to repair this? I have found a few sites that have parts but nothing for the bases. Also does anyone know how i can find any history of the Anniversary Tables? Years made, styles etc. Thank You

Some years ago, I bought a Brunswick Viscount. There was a number on the bottom of one of the main supports. I emailed Brunswick with the number seeking information and I received a full copy of the original installation instruction booklet a few weeks later in the mail.
 
The guys in Kansas are complete experts at restoration. Joe Newell has been doing this kind of work for decades. The other company you're talking about is Blatt Billiards, in NYC.

Brunswick Anniversary model was made from 1946 - 1964. Go to www.brunswickbilliards.com and you can find the history for many of their tables. They were not very good at record keeping and, IIRC, some of their records were lost in a fire. I have an old Anni that I bought 2 years ago and would love to know its history. I believe it's from 1950 or so, based on the look of the Brunswick nameplate, but I don't know for sure.

The classic billiards link above is Ken Hash who specializes in old Brunswicks, even making old parts to fit them! He's your best best for what you need.

Does your wonderful find still have the original Brunswick manufacturer label on the frame? If so if you post it here you'll probably find people who can tell you more about it. Also if you email Brunswick they will send you some PDFs they have with construction diagrams and a bit of background info, although most of it you can find on the web if you search.

There's a lot you can do to restore this table. You should take some photos now, so you can post some Before and After pictures once you get it all done.

If you are planning on doing any of this work yourself check out "Diary of and Antique Brunswick" in the mechanics section. There is also a link to it in my signature.

This is a table restoration I have just finished and am just finishing up posting about. There is a lot of info for anyone working on an old table.

Is there some markings you're basing that on, bankinbob? I'm curious about finding the actual age of mine and the Brunswick site has no info on dating. In addition, their site says the anniversary was made from 1946 - 1964. I'm not doubting you, because their records are also incredibly sloppy. I'm guessing anything is possible. I'm just trying to date mine.

Thanks for all the info. i appreciate it. i e-mailed Derrick @ www.billiardrestoratio.com and he gave me these sites for any of you thinking of doing a restoration and i think one of these may have already been given. For the aluminum bindings on bottom of the bases go to www.pooltableparts.com and for the veneer got to www.certainlywood.com Thanks again for all of your help. i am new to this site and also not a big computer guy so i apologize for any errors

My brother just scored an 5x10 Anniversary Snooker model out of Store and Lock in Idaho last week. The owner just wanted it out. He is going to love the sites listed in this thread.
