My (and my wife's) B-day present to me.... :) :)

Thanks to all for the kind words.

I'm VERY excited to have a BB cue back in the bag...and for those that have been around for the past few years, ya'll know just how fanatical I was about BB cues for awhile.

Now that the dust has settled a bit...and, to be honest, since the whole cue market has softened a bit...Doug was able to make this cue happen for me.

A true BB old-logo player at a great price, from a great guy to deal with...and with the 8BR-joint configuration that I love so much. :grin::cool:

All in all, I'm thrilled...and will enjoy it, for sure.

That refers to piloted ivory joints as well.
Being the cue "hoarder" I am, I forgot I even had any cues with PIJ's until you started a thread a long time ago, so you get half credit.
I didn't start thinking about using a piloted joint cue until that thread.
Now my regular player is a James White...8BR-PIJ

Can you compare the hit of your new BB to any other cues you've owned (other than the last Black Boar).

I sure will, sir. Once I get a fair amount of time with it on the table, I'll throw up a comparison/review.

I'm happy to know I could mold and shape your mind to the clarity of a piloted joint, sir. I'm here to help!!! :) ;)

Happy B-day Mark, many more! Great cue, looks like a superplayer, plain badass!! Got mine from my wife for my b-day too, but I'm a lot older than you! Enjoy, and may it pay for itself soon!
