I had this cue once before but a friend of mine had to have it worse than me. We made a deal and I regretted it ever since. However, I made an agreement with him that he had to let me have first shot at it if he wanted to change cues. Well it's back.

could tel me who made it???:)

Looks like a real player, Congrats!

If you find a cue that makes you feel like Zeus with his lightning bolt in hand never let it go. Dont let it escape you again:thumbup:

John, who made this cue of yours???

This was one of the very first cues I had Jerry Rauenzahn convert. We thought it was african blackwood, but most likely it's ebony. It's from the lat 40's or early 50's. There was just enough meat on the butt to convert it. I have to say it hits GREAT. I never thought I would get it back, but luck somehow came my way. I have several fella's I play league with who have played with it and think they are going to end up with it. NO, NO NO.

I'ts such a beautiful cue and the balance is incredible.

All I can say is Jerry,

THANK YOU!!!!

John

outstanding

This is an outstanding cue. I have a Titliest conversion with old 314's and it really plays well. It is no where near as nice as this and certainly not as desirable. The is a real keeper. Congratulations!

Very very beautiful cue!

I have ask blackboar to build a cue like this for me...no response till now.

Best,

Andreas

Ebony 26 1/2?
Nick :)

Nick,

Now that I think about it, you may have nailed it. IT'S REALLY SWEETTTT regardless!!! Those first 1996 original 314's (pre-cat) hit like the nuts. I had a couple of extra shafts from the 1996 series Predator and a 1996 LE IV and next year's 1997 LE V Predator which came with the Nickel/silver rings. Most of the old Limited Edition Predators were sold with two matching 314's. I'm pretty sure they were American made then also. They sure have nice graining structure, very pleasing to the eye.
