Besides playing pool, oil painting is one of my other favorite things to do. I was finally able after 17 years to set my studio back up last fall and start painting again. I had some unfinished paintings from back in the 90's that I was able to finally finish, but this was the 1st brand new painting I started after getting everything going again. In fact, wanting to do this painting was what led me to decide to pull everything out and find a way to set it up again.

I have a lot of paintings I did back in the 80s & 90s but this is the only Billiards theme painting I have done so far. I took some pictures of some of the better paintings and put them together in an online art show and posted it to youtube. Here is the link to the video if you're interested.

Funny, the first thing I did when I saw the painting was figuring out my run out. Nice work.

LMAO

Wow - I'm glad everybody so far likes it. Thank You!

I was a little nervous about posting it on here, because I wasn't sure what the AZBers would think about it.

I didn't post any of my other paintings directly to the forum as they are not Billiard related, but I hope everyone will use the link to the youtube video and see my other work.

Just in case you missed the link in the 1st post, here it is again:

New Photo & Prints now Available

I posted this painting on here about a year & half ago and everyone seemed to enjoy it. I have recently joined Fine Art America where artists can upload high quality photos of their artwork that can be made into several types & sizes of prints for sale. I have loaded new Higher Quality photos of this painting to the site and they are now available for sale. This Link should take you to it.

Although for now, this is my only Billiards related painting, I am in the process of starting a new Billiards Painting that will be ready in a couple of months, when it is finished I will post it here for you. You can see more of my different types of artwork by visiting my YouTube Channel: SL Studios - Fine Art Oil Paintings This is a new YouTube Channel I've setup dedicated solely to my artwork.

What? No dogs playing pool artistry?! humph..... j/k. Nice work!

Well yeah, the guy can indeed paint very well - but how good is his pool stroke ?? :-D (Probably better than mine - I'm a strong D grade player ! ;-P )

j/k - very nice dude.

Cheers.

Well My FairladyZ, In Post #9 I did say I was starting a new Billiards themed Painting, It's not too late to throw in some Dogs playing Pool or Poker, if you would like to commission the Painting that is. LOL

Mamics - Once upon a time my Pool Stroke was almost as good as my Brush Stroke, but then a bad back & shoulder got in the way of it. Now I can only Paint it, instead of Play it. Ouch!!!

Thank You Both
