Hercek ???

The Rings on the shaft look Hercek.

Tommyd1
Paul Mottey , from Pennsylvania , actually from Pittsburg makes cues like that"
So did Gus Szamboti"
His son, Barry Szamboti also makes cues like that"
Is it one of those most-respected gentlemen?
It sure is a nice cue,
thanks for posting up the pics;)

Can't be a Hercek - Joel absolutely REFUSES to use MOP in his cues.

I'm guessing the younger of the 2 Boti's.

Either way, that is one Nice Present!!!

Actually the rings on the Hercek in your avatar are made to look like a boti. Check your PM's for the reason why...

I can't believe you guys aren't guessing his Dale Perry correctly !! :)
Sean,
I didn't know Dale actually made any cues like that"
I thought He only made 1 of 1's, :D

Tim Scruggs used to make this model in the early 80's. What is the cue history? Was it sold to you as a Gus? At Gus pricing:eek:

Pool room owner Delbert Wong friend owned this cue he passed, he used to buy 2-3 cues at a time from Gus. Sold as a Gus, and Gus price...., I believed what Delbert tells me.

Looks like Gus to me. If you paid Scruggs pricing Kenny, I will give you an extra $1000 on top of what you paid so you can ship it to me.....cause I am nice like that:)

I was just going to ask if that was the Delbert Gus! What does it weigh? How does it play?

looks right to me. only one way to truely know for sure. it could use a clean up anyway. send it out

great cue. dont see too many szambotis with mop inlays.

Only If That's Needs A Clean Up...

I like the way it looks. Old classic looking player cue, have a few battlemarks on cue. If I do want to have it clean up, there is only one person I would have send to and clean it all up>>>:D Barry Szamboti:D

Kenny,

That's a beautiful Gus....I love this classic look!! Would love to hear the history on this one and know when it was made? The cue look mint!!
