nice collection
could you describe the hit and playability of scruggs vs frey
this is not a question of "better"
just as objectively decribe the feel of each for those of us that may never get a chance to try either one

I like the lineup!!! I really like the TS on the far left...that one really catches my eye! ;)

I'm not good at describing how the cues hit. It very difficult and objective. It depends on what size table you've play on, type of game, tip, ferrule, joint, etc

I like my cues with ivory joints and ferrules with kamui black ss.

This collection has different setups. Radial stainless, piloted stainless, and 3/8 x 10

You'll just have to play with one to truly understand how it plays and feels. Scruggs and Frey play very similar. (it's all about the shaft taper)

I see you have my old 4 point cocobolo (second on left). I traded that to get a bigger Scruggs. Ivory Joint big pin and old school maple dash ringwork.

ive noticed that there are alot of cues that get passed around the "family"

The cocobolo ivory jointed Scruggs is probably the best playing in my collection.

I just put that cue my bag along with the Frey Titleist conversion.

I loved how it played too, and I had 4 shafts with that bad boy. I think two of them were parted out.
